reversal films?

what exactly are reversal films? i know i shoot on kodachrome and that is positive, but if anybody can clue me in that would be great.

Reversals are a positive film. It's just another name. So kodachrome, ectachrome, Plus-X, and Tri-X are all reversals.

reversal film is known by so many different names, I'm not surprised you got confused, youve got, posative, reversal, slide, and transparency films, which are all the same type
